Greetings From Vicki

Hi, I’m Vicki Feldman, a member of the Cultural Care Au Pair network.  I’m excited to be involved as a local care consultant.  If you’re like me, the thought of meeting new people and helping others is fun and exciting.

My life began in The Bronx, New York.  When I married and anticipated raising a family, Commack, New York became my hometown.   After raising 2 children while working a full time career,  I truly understand the need for quality childcare. With many parents in the workforce it is important to surround your children with nurturing childcare.  Even a stay at home mom can use an extra set of loving hands.

In my spare time I enjoy socializing with family and friends. (I’ve been part of a Mah Jongg group for 30 years)   As befits my chosen profession, I am an avid reader.  Nothing relaxes me more, then when I sit with a James Patterson thriller or a Danielle Steele romance novel.  I must confess to be a chocoholic.  Because of this delicious yet pound producing hobby, I find myself sweating in the gym almost every day.  That gives me less guilt as I pop the chocolate fudge oreo cookie in my mouth.

One of my goals is to travel around the world.  Every chance I get, I hop on a plane, ship etc to visit and explore new places.  This year’s destination is Switzerland.  Hopefully, I’ll have lots of stories to tell when I return.  Speaking of learning about different cultures- What can be more fascinating than having someone who comes from another background spend time with your family?  This also gives you a chance to share your culture with them.  If you’re interested in learning about hosting an au pair, contact me at (631) 864-5518 or
